Anxiety is a natural response in stressful situations. However, especially in our modern world, there is often nothing physical to protect ourselves from, or nowhere to escape to. This leaves us feeling anxious. To navigate this process we need to find and practice ways that teach the nervous system that the threat has passed. Yoga, amongst other tools, can help us navigate this.
A specially curated wellness day for you!
Whether you are someone who struggles with anxiety or not, this day of movement, mindful activities, connecting with nature, good food and kind hearted beings is for you. A day away from the stresses of daily life offering a chance to take your gaze inwards, helping to find some calm and peace in a safe, non judgemental environment.
Nestled at the beautiful Larchwood Studio in Hay-on-Wye, we will spend the day nurturing our minds through trauma informed yoga practice, calming candle making with the wonderful @theforaginghouse, a tasty brunch and late lunch, and the option of a walk along the river.
The day will be intimate with just 10 spaces available to ensure a safe, supportive space.
The retreat is £85 with a non refundable deposit of £25 to secure your place.
