TAI CHI MOVEMENTS FOR WELLBEING
Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) is a specially developed, beautifully simple range of moves which promotes physical and emotional health and wellbeing. It combines the essential elements of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and meditation to allow you to feel the benefits of these wonderful arts easily, giving you greater confidence, reducing stress and tension, and putting a spring in your step!
The sequence was developed by renowned Tai Chi master Richard Farmer and consultant clinical and neuro psychologist Dr David Quinn. TMW keeps your body relaxed, healthy and feeling well because it supports you to move and breathe with awareness, so you tune in to your own unique needs.
TMW allows you to rebalance your mind and body, to improve your flexibility and balance, and to increase your core strength. It takes just six weeks to learn the sequence, and practicing it helps you to develop a set of skills and understandings that bring you into a different, kinder, and more mindful connection with yourself, firstly practiced within the TMW movements and then gradually taken into every aspect of your life.
TMW is suitable for people of all ages and can be done sitting or standing.
A DVD / Booklet / MP4 is available to support your learning.
