Arriving on foot or by bicycle?

For campers arriving on foot, or by bicycle you will be accommodated in a small orchard or on the main campsite. You can specify on the booking form, or we will allocate you an available pitch at either area depending upon availability

The orchard is a peaceful camping space a 5-10 minute walk from Hay town centre. The orchard has direct access to The Wye Valley Walk wyevalleywalk.org and Offas Dyke Path nationaltrail.co.uk

The field camping pitches have a lovely view of Hay-on-Wye, which is just a 5-10 mins stroll away.

Facilities include a good hot shower, a place for washing up, use of a fire pit if you need one and use of 2 compost toilets. All facilities are well maintained – soaps and shampoos are provided in the shower. Washing up liquid at washing up station, rubbish and re-cycling collected daily, compost toilets are well maintained and cleaned.

The Main campsite is also a lovely spot about the same easy distance from Hay Town. On the main campsite you will have access to a super toilet and shower block as well as fun outdoor camp showers and additional compost loos. You can request to be on either site or we will allocate you a pitch – but without a vehicle you will be paying a reduced price.

There is no charge for dogs – dogs must be kept on a lead or tethered at all times. Please pick up and dispose of dog poo responsibly ( a bin is provided for bagged dog poo).

Prices include hot showers and washing up facilities.
All water is drinking water, cold water sinks are also provided.

Hot showers are always available at the main campsite during frosty weather.
